Crews were first called to a home in the 2400 block of North Calvert Street for reports of a fire around 7 p.m., on Thursday, Feb. 16, according to a Baltimore Fire Department spokesperson.

Officials were able to contain the flames to the second floor of the three-story rowhome, they said.

Hours later, around 1 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 17, firefighters were called back into action when another rowhome fire in the 1500 block of West Lanvale Street was reported.

It is unclear whether or not either home was occupied at the time of the fire.

No injuries were initially reported.
